Do we use ArmorAll?

We get asked this allot. The quick answer is NO we do not. ArmorAll looks great when you apply it but its oily and dirt sticks to it and it does not last. We use a product called Chemical guys VRP.

How It Works

VRP Protectant is the ultimate protection and shine enhancer for interior and exterior trim. VRP creates a super shine finish on any rubber, vinyl, or textured plastic surface. The easy-to-use protectant restores a deep black look, enhances shine, and protects the surface against UV solar rays. Perfect for tires, bumpers, trim pieces, bumper moldings, side mirrors, and much more. Easily protects dashboards, door panels, vinyl seats, and steering wheels. VRP provides a brilliant shine and restores the dark black appearance to plastic and rubber trim. Apply to rubber tires to maintain the dark black finish after every wash. Restore mirror and bumper trim from dull and faded to dark and rich. VRP Protectant leaves no-residue and finishes dry-to-the-touch. VRP Protectant keeps your trim looking like new for weeks, not days. VRP penetrates deep into the pores of plastic, rubber, and vinyl to restore and protect the surface to factory-new condition. The water-based protectant creates the perfect new appearance on interior and exterior surfaces, not a greasy wet look. Restore the dark, rich shine to vinyl, rubber, and plastic trim with Chemical Guys VRP Protectant.

Restores New Look To Trim Pieces

Automobile manufacturers build their cars and trucks with cutting edge composites that add strength and save weight. Crash resistant bumper parts, fender flares, mudguards, window trim and moldings, and side view mirror parts are often made with lightweight vinyls, rubbers, and plastics that are sensitive to harsh UV sunlight. Prolonged exposure to the sun and caustic cleaners cause fading and staining on these trim pieces. Chemical Guys VRP Protectant penetrates deep to nourish, restore, and protect a new appearance and feel to smooth or textured black car parts. Massage VRP Protectant directly into bumper trim, mirrors, windshield cowls, and rubber tire sidewalls to restore a deep black look and new appearance. VRP is like lotion for vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts. Use VRP inside the car on dashboards, door panels, and center consoles. Use VRP outside the car on bumpers, mirrors, and tires. Use VRP inside the engine bay on beauty covers, air boxes, rubber lines, and plastic components. Restore, protect, and maintain plastic car parts rather than replacing them with Chemical Guys VRP Protectant.

Protects Against Fading From Harmful UV Sunlight

Sunlight contains powerful UV rays that damage and degrade car parts. Trim pieces made from vinyl, rubber, and plastic are notoriously sensitive to fading and staining caused by exposure to harmful UV rays, water, and sources of contamination and pollution. Chemical Guys VRP Protectant helps restore a like-new appearance to exterior and interior vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts. The premium water-based cream dressing nourishes and protects these surfaces to restore a like-new deep-black shine. Specialty UV blockers act like sunscreen for plastic pieces; repelling harmful solar rays that bleach, fade, and crack sensitive car parts over time. Surfaces treated with VRP Protectant last longer and look better than those left untreated. Keep vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts looking new, fresh, and shiny with Chemical Guys VRP Protectant.

Formulated For All Vinyl, Rubber, And Plastic

Chemical Guys VRP Protectant is formulated and blended for use on all vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts inside, or outside any vehicle. VRP works through heat, cold, rain, snow, sunlight, shade, and more. Use VRP on exterior bumper parts and tires without fear of smearing, running, or slinging all over the exterior paintwork or the environment. Spread VRP over dashboards and door panels without smudging or staining upholstery or clothing. Detail engine bay components with a new look that won’t quickly fade in high heat. Make vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts shine like new with Chemical Guys VRP Protectant.
