Do we use ArmorAll?
Both provide the something, a protection from scratches and from the sun. However they both provide different types of protection for different lengths of time. So I have place a Pro and Cons list of both. Sealant & Wax, What to know:
  • Sealant last up to 1 year or longer if you apply wax on top.
  • Wax last about 3 to 6 months.
  • You can not place sealant on top of wax, but you can place wax on top of sealant extending the life of the sealant.

We have added a new rack to our trailer. This will make it easier to carry our ladder and enable us to carry a larger ladder for RV detailing that we will be getting in to hopefully this summer. New Rack
We have 2 different waxs on hand, Jescar/Menzerna Color Lock and Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. During the summer I like to use Menzerna. It cures quick and last several months in the Texas heat. During cooler weather I use Butter Wet Wax as it cures quick in the cold and last a long time during the cooler weather. Witch wax do you use?
This is a tool that we do not use too often, but we do use it on a car that we have never washed before and going to wax or on a very dirty car. We also use it on a heavily bug plastered car too.  The main benefit is that you can pre-soak your vehicle with shampoo without the need to touch your paint. This allows the surfactants in the shampoo to start lifting contamination from the surface of your vehicle, which can also speed up the wash process. Here is a video on foaming a car

We bought several new tools last year. Beginning of last year, we bought a set of tools that can remove 99% of dog hair from carpet with ease. We installed a water softener early last year. This helps reduce spots on the car and helps protects our equipment. However, we are in the process to replace this system with a reverse osmosis system this year. More on that later.
